The second group of Vietnamese military medical officers undertaking the UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan was seen off at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh city on October 15th.

The 31 officers belong to the level-2 field hospital, going to South Sudan together with 30 tons of goods and medicine, to connect with the 32 officers who came to South Sudan 2 weeks ago.

The hospital will replace the second-level field hospital of the UK army in Bentiu, South Sudan, to provide medical care for staffers of the UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan within one year.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh, Deputy Minister of National Defence, saw out the officers.
