Thua Thien - Hue and Korean locality set up cooperation

During the working meeting, Namyangju city Governor Cho Kwang-Han said that Namyangju city is compared to a slow city (Cittaslow) with good environment and living quality. “Its strong economic sectors include trade, mineral resources and manufacturing,” he added.

According to him, Namyangju city has set up relationship with Nghe An province’s Vinh city, and continues to set up cooperative relationship with Hue city in economics, tourism, culture, education and urban management, which he said will be a favourable condition for expanding cooperation between the city and Thua Thien - Hue province in the near future.

Chairman of the Thua Thien - Hue provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho praised and appreciated the friendly and cooperative relationship between Hue and Namyangju cities, informing of the visit to Hue by Kim Do-Hyun, RoK Ambassador to Vietnam, and the signing of a cooperative agreement between the Thua Thien - Hue provincial People’s Committee with the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which helps open up opportunities for investment cooperation.
