Police from Vietnam’s southern province of Binh Phuoc and Cambodia’s Mondukiri province signed a programme on August 18 to boost cooperation in crime control in border areas.

Under the programme, police from both provinces will continue to enhance exchange of information on crime operations along the border, ensure border security and border marker-planting as well as dealing with crime-related cases.

They will strictly control immigration activities and prevent crime problem across the border and create the best possible conditions for people from the two countries to exchange goods, visit their relatives and register for legal medical examination and treatment.
