The program was broadcast live from Vietnam’s Hanoi and Laos’ Vientiane.

The 120 minute-long program delivered reports on the two countries’ cooperation and mutual assistance during both war and peace, and art performances imbued with Vietnamese and Lao cultures, which strongly impressed special guests from Hanoi and Vientiane, as well as the audience. Steps of cooperation and the friendship between Vietnam and Laos from the past to present were shown in the program, which gave the audience a general overview about the friendship and solidarity between the two countries in each period of history.

In particular, during the program, the audience met and talked with witnesses of history who contributed to building the Vietnam - Laos relations.

Meanwhile, reports produced in Laos helped the audience have a more thorough understanding about generations who sacrificed their blood to lay a foundation for the Vietnam - Laos revolutionary relationship; about the sharing of the two countries in the struggles for national independence and freedom in each country; and the solidarity and precious assistance in difficult periods of time.

The program also included a confirmation from the younger generations of the two countries in inheriting and promoting the precious Vietnam - Laos relationship./.
