Vietnam, Thailand increase scientific and technological cooperation

The Ministry of Science and Technology is assigned to be responsible for working with related Vietnamese and Thai agencies to carry out the agreement.

Being signed in 2017, the agreement created a legal foundation for the implementation of scientific and technological cooperative programs between the two countries, focusing on biotechnology, electronic and computing technology, materials science and nanotechnology, food - water and energy security, agricultural science, environmental science, support of start-up and innovation businesses, and cooperation for the development of technologies in line with the trend of the 4^th industrial revolution.

It is also expected to help expand and promote the relationship between Vietnamese and Thai scientific and technological organizations for mutual benefit, contributing to increasing the Vietnam - Thailand strategic partnership./.
