Accordingly, Vingroup will present 1,000 VFS-410 ventilators and 500 VFS-510 ventilators to Russia, and 600 VFS-410 ventilators and 300 VFS-510 ventilators to Ukraine.

The invasive ventilators include Vsmart VFS-410 and VFS-510, the two “made in Vietnam” invasive ventilators which have been completed and manufactured entirely within the Vingroup ecosystem, with a localisation rate of up to 70%.

The ventilators are currently being assessed by quality management agencies and the Medical Council of Vietnam, ensuring compliance with quality standards for product circulation in Vietnam. In addition, Vingroup is providing model ventilators for Russia and Ukraine to guarantee their quality for the product circulation licences by the two countries.

With the international standard performance, VFS-410 and VFS-510 not only meet immediate treatment needs of COVID-19; but can continue to be used in intensive care units (ICU), providing long-term value and effectiveness.

Talking with Vietnam News Agency, Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman and CEO of Vingroup said that: “By giving 2,400 invasive ventilators, Vingroup hopes to actively contribute to the effective treatment of medical forces in Russia and Ukraine for COVID-19 patients. This shows the group’s gratitude to the two countries for supporting its start-up process.”

So far, Vingroup is one of the leading enterprises in Asia in sponsoring and supporting the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic with a total sponsorship fund of nearly VND600 billion, excluding funding for investment in manufacturing ventilators./.

The successful production of "made in Vietnam" ventilators in a short record period of time and proactively awarded to countries facing the complex difficulties of the COVID-19 pandemic, continues to affirm the spirit of solidarity and good tradition of being grateful to benefactors of Vietnamese people./.
