Vietnamese Party General Secretary and President’s present inaugurated in Laos

The Sithanasay High School, which is a present from the Communist Party of Vietnam General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong to Laos’ Bolikhamsay province during his official visit to Laos in 2016, was inaugurated on November 11th.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Standing Deputy Head of the Office of the Vietnamese Party Central Committee Hoang Cong Hoan noted that the school reflects the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States and peoples.
“The school helps satisfy the demand of over 900 teachers and pupils; improve facilities for increased quality of education; and ensure synchronous professionalism in education and training activities,” he added.
Expressing his deep thanks to Vietnamese Party Chief and President Nguyen Phu Trong, Bounmabu Chaleun, Deputy Secretary of the Bolikhamsay provincial Party Committee and the provincial Deputy Chief, confirmed that the school is an invaluable and greatly significant present which reflects both the great care from the two Parties and States towards human resources development for Laos, and the special relationship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
Started in December 2017 with a capital of VND30 billion, the school provides a floor area of 2,126 square metres, 8 classrooms, 2 laboratories, a hall, dozens of staff rooms, and other facilities./.
