The objective characteristics are really a good condition and invaluable asset for tourism development.
Ba Vi National Park is only about 60km from Hanoi, with fresh and cool air. It has always been a place attracting many tourists to visit. It is regarded as "Da Lat in the heart of Hanoi", including numerous famous attractions such as pine hill, ancient church, cactus garden and wild sunflower hill.
As it is close to Hanoi, visitors can go and return within a day. Just travelling around an hour by motorbike, visitors have arrived in the poetic suburbs. The weather there is cool in the winter sun, so many people come here for beautiful backdrops to formal photographs.
In recent years, every November and December the wild sunflowers bloom and attract many young people to Ba Vi National Park to take photos. In Ba Vi National Park, wild sunflowers mainly grow in Code 600 or on the way leading to Ba Vi Resort, where there are big wild sunflower trees to take photos.
Wild sunflowers in Ba Vi Mountain have their own beauty, especially when overlooking the clouds around Ba Vi. Wild sunflowers bloom in a large field or cover all over mountain side that seems a mountain full of the yellow flowers.
Therefore, when wild sunflowers bloom, many people, especially young people, flock to Ba Vi to enjoy the landscape and take photos. Thus, Ba Vi National Park has a new tourist season in wild sunflower season.
In addition, the cactus garden is also a new tourist product of Ba Vi National Park, a emerging place for young people in the capital.
Beyond the gate of Ba Vi National Park about 1 km, turn right and follow the path to the cactus garden, where there are more than 1,200 different varieties of cacti.
The special highlight of the cactus garden is that it is grown in a nicely arched greenhouse offering a suitable space for the characteristics of cactus species. Besides, greenhouse architecture is also super nice backdrop for young people to create art photos. Therefore, the cactus garden has become a highlight of Ba Vi National Park.
According to Mr. Do Huu The, Deputy Director of Ba Vi National Park, from the beginning of the year, tourism activities of Ba Vi National Park have been implemented effectively. By November 2016, Ba Vi National Park welcomed over 347,400 visitors, revenue over VND13 billion and contributing to the budget of nearly VND2.5 billion. In November alone, the number of tourists increased dramatically due to wild sunflower season.
Tourists mainly go to Ba Vi on holidays and weekends, but security, order situation and environmental sanitation is still guaranteed, fire prevention at tourism destinations are strictly controlled. Besides, the Ba Vi National Park has guided and inspected business establishments in the park to ensure that entertainment activities in holidays are happy, healthy and safe.
To become a calibre tourism attraction of the capital, the Ba Vi National Park will continue to strengthen investment to upgrade tourism infrastructure and exploit new tourism products such as cactus garden, wild sunflower fields and ensure a green, clean and beautiful environment to step up marketing and promotion to lure more visitors./.
