2,500 poor people provided free medical care

The 238th Green Health Program was organized by the Tam Viet Doctor Association, Ho Chi Minh city Business Association, Entrepreneurs Fund for the community and Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh city at Hue Quang Pagoda, Go Cong town, Tien Giang province on May 7th.

The program provided free medical examination and medicines for nearly 2,500 poor people for cardiovascular diseases, ultrasound, electrocardiogram, blood pressure, digestion, respiratory diseases, ophthalmology and obstetric diseases.

Oriental medicine physicians also examined and treated chronic diseases, muscauloskeletal joints and led physical therapy.

The VND300 million-program also presented 300 gifts, including instant noodles, confectionery, cooking oil and rice for patients in special difficult conditions, presented seeds and guided farmers to grow safe vegetables and provided breakfast and lunch for people who came to receive examinations./.
