336 advanced youth following Uncle Ho’s teachings to be honoured

At a press conference held in Hanoi on May 14^th, Deputy Head of the Committee of Popularization and Education under the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee Nguyen Tuong Lam said that the congress would honour individuals advanced in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style in the 2016 - 2018 period.

From all regions throughout the nation, 336 delegates are outstanding youth and have excellent achievements. These delegates all have work, invention and initiatives in the field they study, work and are outstanding representatives for youth collectives in localities.

Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee Nguyen Ngoc Luong stressed that the congress hopes that the individuals advanced in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style will offer inspiration and create an effect to spread positive effect to young people across the nation.

During the two-day congress, various significant activities will be organized such as growing trees, ceremony to report their achievements to Uncle Ho, presenting insignia to the advanced individuals, attending an exhibition “Vietnamese youth study and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings,” visiting Ho Chi Minh city historical and cultural park, as well as exchange and social activities./.
