HCM City Department of Culture and Sports has promulgated a plan to launch the 200-day emulation campaign to welcome district-level party congresses and the 11th City Party Congress (the 2020-2025 term), towards to the 13th National Party Congress.

The plan aims to promote the tradition of solidarity, overcoming difficulties and creativity of the City Party Committee and local people; focus on leading and encouraging cadres, civil servants, officials, party members and local people to complete constructions and projects to welcome district-level party congresses and the 11th City Party Congress (the 2020-2025 term), towards to the 13th National Party Congress.

It will also praise collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to disseminate and replicate advanced examples, typical collectives and individuals.

Previously, HCM City People's Committee launched an emulation movement to celebrate the national major holidays towards welcoming the Party Congress at all levels, the 11th City Party Congress (the 2020 – 2025 term) and the 13th National Party Congress.

The emulation movement was launched in the entire Party, people and city armed forces, focusing on solving practical tasks of each level, each unit and each field of work, striving to achieve and exceed the targets and tasks of socio-economic development in 2020 and the Resolution of the 10th City Party Congress and the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress.

The city will  also disseminate the meaning and effects of the patriotic emulation movement, the studying of President Ho Chi Minh's thought on patriotic emulation and achievements, to celebrate important holidays and historical events in 2020 such as the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3nd), the 45th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification (April 30th), the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Birth (May 19th), and the National Indepdence Day (September 2nd)./.
