Additional three members elected to Ho Chi Minh City Party Standing Committee

Additional three members was elected to the Ho Chi Minh City Party Standing Committee for the 2015 - 2020 tenure, at the 32nd session of the 10th-term municipal Party Executive Committee on October 2nd.

To be agreed by the Party Central Committee's Commission for Organization, the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee unanimously voted an additional three members of the Party Standing Committee for the 2015 - 2020 tenure to complete procedures for submission to the Secretariat.

The additional elected members are: Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue, Nguyen Ho Hai and Tran Kim Yen.

Mr. Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue was born in 1964 in Dong Thap province. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law and Master’s degree in Party building. He held many positions at Thu Duc district Party Committee and District 9 Party Committee. He was appointed as Head of the Office of the Ho Chi Minh ity Party Committee in August 2013, Director of the Ho Chi Minh city Department of Culture and Sports in November 2014, and he has worked at the office of the municipal National Assembly deputy delegation since August 2016 and has been appointed the head of the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee’s Commission for Popularization and Education since June 24th, 2019. 

While Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai was born in 1977 in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh city. He holds a Master’s degree in urban management, a civil engineering’s degree, and a bachelor’s degree in economics. He held many positions such as Secretary of the District 3 Party Committee, Chairman of the District 3 People’s Council, and Secretary of District 8 Party Committee. Mr. Hai has been appointed head of the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee’s Commission for Organization since April 2019.
Born in 1969 in Hoa Dinh Dong commune, Tuy Hoa district, Phu Yen province, Ms Tran Kim Yen was chairwoman of the Tan Binh district Women’s Union, head of the Tan Binh district Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization and Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization. She is also a deputy of the 14th National Assembly. She has held the position of Secretary of the District 1 Party Committee since March 2018./.
