Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum 2019 to be held

This is the second year the southern hub organized the forum with the hope of mobilizing resources for major economic development issues.

At last year’s forum experts, domestic and international businesses offered suggestions on the formation of the project developing the city’s entire eastern area for institutes, hi-tech parks and creative urban area.

This year, the organizers hope that experts and businesses will continue to make suggestions to departments and branches to change their minds, visions and strategies to soon achieve the goal.

Mr. Chu Tien Dung, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association, Deputy Head of the organizers, said that at this year’s forum, leaders of the city hope that domestic and international experts will listen to and collect ideas to finalize the project of developing Ho Chi Minh city into the financial center of the region and the world.

The forum is expected to attract the participation of more than 800 delegates who are leaders of the Government, ministries, representatives of diplomatic agencies, leaders of the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the Asian Development Bank, and businessmen./.
