Ho Chi Minh city promotes processed agricultural products

Addressing the opening ceremony, Tran Tan Quy, Deputy Director of the city Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, said that the event aimed to respond to the action month for food safety, providing an opportunity for businesses to introduce their safe agricultural and food products, as well as the product harvesting, preserving and processing technologies.

“It also helps producers, businessmen and customers to link themselves in production and consumption of goods, thus having access to new technologies for increasing competitiveness,” Mr. Quy confirmed.

Workshops highlighting technologies in processing and preserving food and agricultural products, and the development of the application of the shrimp aquaculture water quality inspection and warning systems, will be held during the fair./.
