The Ho Chi Minh city People’s Committee on June 11th inaugurated and put into use 2 schools in district 4 as part of activities to welcome the district’s 12th Party Congress and the city’s 11th Party Congress, term 2020-2025, and mark the 109th year since Uncle Ho’s departure to find a way to save the nation (June 5th).

The 2 schools are the Van Don secondary school and the Le Thanh Ton primary school.

According Tran Hoang Quan, Deputy Secretary of the district Party Committee and Chairman of the district People’s Committee, the Van Don secondary school was built on an area of over 8,000 square meters, providing nearly 10,500 square meters of floor, with 37 classrooms and functional rooms.

Using a capital of nearly VND168 billion, the modern school satisfies the demand of training outstanding pupils in the city, and becomes the 11th school built in 2015-2020 term in the district. Earlier, the district put into use 5 pre-schools, 3 primary schools and 2 secondary schools with a capital of VND600 billion, providing over 200 classrooms.

With VND38.5 billion, the Le Thanh Ton primary school was built on an area of nearly 3,500 square meters, providing 4,500 square meters in floor./.
