Ho Chi Minh city to bring over 300 shipments of Tet goods to workers

Over 300 mobile shipments of Tet goods, to be sold at reasonable prices serving workers and labourers in export processing and industrial zones as well as residents in the outskirts regions of Ho Chi Minh city, will be handled by agencies and businesses during the 2018 lunar New Year festival.

According to Nguyen Huynh Trang, Deputy Director of the city Department of Industry and Trade, the price stabilization goods will be sold to low-income laborers who do not return home for Tet. “From now until Tet festival, businesses are expected to develop an additional 221 price stabilization goods locations,” she said.
She added that a majority of the goods are high quality Vietnamese goods which are essential for Tet and discounted.
Additionally, the city Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the city Export Processing and Industrial Zone Authority will also open Vietnamese goods fairs with preferential prices to serve the demand for Tet goods by workers and laborers./.
