Ho Chi Minh City to have signs in English

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport said on April 24th that from early May, the city will pilot the addition of English language signage to serve foreign visitors.

The Saigon River Tunnel Management Centre was assigned the task of implementing the pilot project.

Initially, three streets will have signposts in English in District 1, including: Vo Van Kiet, Ky Con and Nguyen Thai Hoc.

After that, the city will continue to install signs in English at the gateway to Tan Son Nhat International Airport, some national highways, and streets where people need signs in the international language.
