Ho Chi Minh City to organize week for entrepreneurs and books in October

The event aims to mark the 16th anniversary of the Vietnamese Entrepreneur's Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2020) and the 11th Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, for the 2020 – 2025 term.

The week is expected to be organized annually in order to contribute to bringing entrepreneurs closer to books, helping to spread value of books and role of entrepreneurs to the community. At the same time, it helps promote communications towards the goal of encouraging entrepreneurs to write and learn during their life. Thereby, it contributes to improving the management capacity and competitiveness of businesses.

During the week, many outstanding activities will be organized such as book exhibition on smart cities and books for businesses and entrepreneurs; exchanges between businessmen with authors and publishers; introducing books written by entrepreneurs; launching an activity of entrepreneurs donating books to libraries of universities and schools in remote areas.

Particularly, the organizing board will also organize to vote on the 10 most readable books on economics, enterprises and entrepreneurs. The voting period lasts until September 30 and the results will be announced at the opening ceremony of the Week for Entrepreneurs and Book 2020 and on the Saigon Entrepreneur Online Newspaper./.
