The club aims to promote and improve communications on environmental protection; and build members and key collaborators who have knowledge about the environment and actively participate in protecting a green, clean and beautiful life environment for a good future.

The club has 60 reporters and 30 collaborators from newspapers, pictorial magazines, electronic newspapers and websites.

Dang Van Khoa, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh city Association on Natural and Environment Protection, said that the environment of the city is still inadequate, greatly affecting people's lives such as: serious flooding on many streets; indiscriminate littering causing a bad urban scene; common use of disposable plastic products; and classification and collection of waste not being well implemented.

Therefore, the club aims to reflect the reality, promoting absolute and urgent solutions, contributing to constraining environmental pollutants; and contributing to proposing radical solutions to overcome the situation of air pollution and fine dust.

In addition, the club also pays attention to communications on deforestation prevention, as well as raising people's awareness about building and protecting the city’s environment.

On this occasion, the club visited Bien Hoa Ajinomoto Factory to learn about the operation of a bio-boiler system using rice husks instead of using oil and gas, cutting costs and reducing by nearly 50% CO2 emissions into the environment; visiting the standardized wastewater treatment area, meeting the zero emission goal, returning water to Dong Nai River, contributing to creating a sustainable environment and balancing the ecosystem of the Dong Nai river basin; and learning about clean agricultural support products such as AMI fertilizers - the result of a closed biological production process./.
