Singaporean company to cooperate with Ho Chi Minh city in real estate

Receiving Neil Robert Wilson, President of the Sakkara Group, on March 6th, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan praised the group’s Sapphire Company’s care concerning upgrading and rebuilding old apartment buildings in the city.

According to President Neil Robert Wilson, Sapphire Company, established in 2012 by Sakkara Corporation and the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), works in real estate investment and development. In Vietnam, Sapphire Company has been developing over 1,000 flats and 40,000 square metres of commercial real estate, mainly in Ho Chi Minh city.

He expressed his hope that the company would set up cooperation with Ho Chi Minh city’s partners in developing residential buildings and office buildings; and rebuilding old apartment buildings. “The constructions will be designed to be modern and suitable for the Vietnamese market, featuring connecting spaces with natural scenery to improve the lifestyle of communities.

Appreciating the company’s achievements in the city, Secretary Nhan highlighted its outstanding projects, which he said contributed to promoting the city’s socio-economic development.

He praised the company’s care in upgrading and rebuilding old apartment buildings in the city, in order to improve residents’ living standards and security./.
