The specialized female motorcycle squad including 58 members under the Ho Chi Minh City Police made debut on August 25.

This will be an important squad to perform the task of welcoming, convoying, and protecting delegations of the Party, State, international visitors to Ho Chi Minh City, and the 11th Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress in the coming time.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Police, the members of the squad must be selected strictly with moral qualities, solid political bravery, high discipline, and the ability to adapt quickly in various situations.
The members are trained to control specialized motorcycle, practice to lead hypothesized delegations, and practice their ability of multi-dimensional observation under high pressure during the process of performing tasks.
On August 16, the specialized female motorcycle squad performed their tasks well, ensuring absolute safety when they were assigned by the Ho Chi Minh City Police to protect and lead the delegation of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong.
According to Colonel Huynh Trung Phong, Head of Road and Railway Traffic Police Department under the Ho Chi Minh City Police, after more than 1 month of practice and participating in real situations, the squad was officially launched and is ready to serve the 11th Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress.
After that, the squad will be maintained regularly to patrol, control and communicate on model streets in the area; participate in welcoming, convoying and protecting delegations of leaders of the Party, State, and international delegations visiting, working and passing through Ho Chi Minh City./.
