This is the result of 16 years of research and practice in wax processing technology by three artists: Thai Ngoc Binh, Nguyen Van Dong and Nguyen Thi Dien. The wax statues are modelled on the physiques and faces of famous artists in many fields, such as: late Professor Tran Van Khe; People's Artist Huynh Nga; Composer Trinh Cong Son; Artist Minh Vuong; People's Artist Hong Van; and Singer Dam Vinh Hung.

In particular, the wax statues are decorated with lively make-up as suitable for the characters, and costumes of the artists, making visitors and artists interested and curious.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. To Trung Kiet, Director of the Hoa Binh Theatre, said that besides the wax statues, the exhibition hall also provides biography and dedication of artists to the country’s culture. In addition, exchanges and meetings with singers and artists will be organized. Thereby, it creates a new and attractive cultural, art and tourism destination for tourists at home and abroad when visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, exchanges and talks on the art will be regularly organized on weekends. In particular, a part of ticket sales will be used to organize charity activities, help children of poor artists to learn and present significant gifts to less fortunate people./.
