Forum connects tourism space among four countries

A forum to connect tourism space between Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV) will be held from July 30th to August 1st, in Myanmar.

Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Head of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration (VNAT) announced in a press conference on July 25th, in Hanoi.

The forum titled "Four countries - One destination" aims to enhance economic and tourism cooperation and promote cross-border travel among the four countries. Tourism enterprises will shape attractive tourist products, creating common destinations for travelers, Mr. Sieu stressed.

In the framework of the forum, there will be activities such as exchanging orientations for cooperation to develop economics, trade and tourism; expanding cooperation in the banking sector in the circumstance of ASEAN Economic Community formation; SOM session and a meeting of tourism ministers; connecting and signing cooperative agreements between ministries, branches and enterprises; art performances, photo and picture exhibition on the beauty of culture and people of the four countries.

The event is expected to lure about 500-600 participants and more than 30 enterprises from each side./.
