Franchising business blooms in Vietnam

(CPV) - Vietnam’s franchising market continues to flaunt its potential, as a new wave of the world's biggest brands are increasingly looking for franchising partners.

Accordingly, the biggest franchise event titled “International Franchise Discovery Day” will be held by VF Franchise Consulting, the leading US franchising and licensing consulting company, with offices in Vietnam, Singapore and Thailand, on April 27th.

At this event, Vietnamese franchisees will have opportunity to meet leading international brands in the food and beverage sector seeking partners for expansion with minimum investment capital from USD1-USD5 million, such as Grimaldi’s New York Pizzeria®; The Boiling Crab®; and Presotea®.

As the world’s most effective and successful model, franchising provides investors with a relatively rapid avenue of entering into business with controlled levels of investment and reduced risk.

According to Mr Sean T. Ngo, CEO of VF Franchise Consulting, with over 95 million people and one of the fast growing GDP growth rates in the world, the franchising world has taken notice of the significant opportunities in consumer spending in Vietnam. Consumer spending in Vietnam is especially high in the food and beverage and education sectors of the economy. Even the famous Goldman Sachs estimates that Vietnam will become a Top 10 economy by 2050.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade, until July 2016, up to 148 foreign brands have registered their franchising businesses in Vietnam. In which, the food and beverage brands hold the upper hand with famous trade names like KFC, Lotteria, Jollibee, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Starbucks, McDonald’s, Domino’s Pizza, Popeye’s Chicken, Texas Chicken and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf./.
