The Hanoian Association in Germany organized to meet to mark the 64th anniversary of Hanoi Liberation Day (October 10th) and organized the 5th congress for the 2018-2020 tenure at Dong Xuan Trade Centre in Berlin.

On behalf of the Executive Board of the Hanoian Association in Germany, Mr. Cong Viet Cuong, Chairman of the association, reviewed the glorious historical days of the capital in the resistance war against France more than 60 years ago, reported the results of the association’s operation over the past time and proposed operation orientation for the coming time.
The association encouraged and rewarded outstanding individuals, especially students, who are second Hanoian generation born and raised in Germany, and have excellent results in their study.
Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Doan Xuan Hung expressed his pleasure when Hanoi is developing day by day to be worthy as a political - economic - cultural centre of the whole country.
In the great development, Hanoians play a special important role, including contributions of Hanoians living abroad. He also hoped that Hanoians in Germany continue to unite to develop and deeply integrate into the local society.
On this occasion, the association presented awards to outstanding students, who are children of Hanoians in Germany and elected the executive board term V for the 2018 - 2020 tenure with 25 members. Mr. Cong Viet Cuong was re-elected as its Chairman./.
