The ceremony included various special programs such as painting exhibitions of domestic painters, performance of songs, dances and poems about Hanoi, and a traditional long dress and ethnic costume performance.

At the event, people had a chance to contemplate and take photo with models of O Quan Chuong, Hoan Kiem lake, pedicab, small shift shops and enjoy Hanoi’s food at stalls.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador Vu Dang Dung highly appreciated positive and practical contributions of Ha Thanh Club in organizing significant events for Hanoians living far from the homeland, as well as preserving and upholding the good tradition of the people in the capital.

He hoped that the club continues to make more contributions to common activities of the overseas Vietnamese community in Poland.

On this occasion, the ambassador presented certificates of merit from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese to the club for its contributions to the community.

The event made overseas Vietnamese remember and love Hanoi more and helped Polish friends understand more about typical traditional cultural features of Hanoians and Vietnamese people in general.
