87th founding anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union marked in Russia

The Civi Affairs Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) in the Russian Federation organized a meeting to mark the 87th founding anniversary of the HCMCYU in Moscow on March 25th.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Anh Duy, Secretary of the Civil Affairs Committee of the HCMCYU in the Russian Federation, said that there are more than 50 youth union organizations with over 4,000 members.

The Civil Affairs Committee has carried out successfully many youth union activities and youth movements in order to gather young people to actively participate in collective activities, study well and have steady ideological stand, always believe in guidelines and policies of the Party and State, look toward the homeland and promote Vietnam’s image to international friends.

At the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Russian Federation Ngo Duc Manh reviewed the glorious history of the Union and stressed that since its establishment, the HCMCYU has always been an efficient prolonged arm of the Party in the resistance wars to protect, as well as the cause of construction and development, of the nation.   

He highly appreciated the achievements the youth union in the Russian Federation achieved over the past time and hoped that youth union members continue to uphold the glorious tradition of the previous generations, contributing to fostering and developing the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

At the event, outstanding collectives and individuals, who have excellent achievements in youth union activities in 2017, were presented certificates of merit by  the Civil Affairs Committee and Central Committee of the HCMCYU./.
