Ambassador Nguyen Hoai Duong presents credentials to Mexican President

Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico Nguyen Hoai Duong presented credentials to President Enrique Peña Nieto on May 7th.

At the ceremony, the Mexican President highly appreciated the achievements the people of Vietnam have gained over the past 30 years of innovation and emphasized the great cooperation potential between the two countries.

He reaffirmed that bilateral relations have developed quickly in all fields and committed that the government of Mexico will continue to strengthen the relations with Vietnam, especially after the two nations signed and ratified the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). The Mexican President congratulated and believed that Ambassador Nguyen Hoai Duong will have a successful tenure in Mexico.

For his part, the ambassador conveyed State President Tran Dai Quang’s cordial greetings to President Enrique Peña Nieto. He also said that he felt very honoured and proud to be Vietnamese ambassador to Mexico, and pledged to do his utmost to promote the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.  

He also expressed his belief that based on the available good relationship between the two countries, especially from the official meeting between the two heads of the two nations within the framework of the APEC Economic Leaders' Week 2017 in Da Nang and after CPTPP signed and ratified, the all-field relations between Vietnam and Mexico will be more and more substantial and deepened.
