The delegation was led by Ms. Pham Thi Hong Lien, Chairwoman of ALC and spouse of Vietnamese Ambassador to Malaysia Le Quy Quynh.

During the visit, Ms. Lien shared with the difficulties the officials and staff of the centre have to experience. She said that ALC and she must start from practical action. In coming time when being the President of ALC, Vietnam will try to organize more significant activities to not only boost coherence among members, but also contribute to charitable activities in the locality.

Mr. Cheah, representative from The Pusat, said that the centre is taking care of 138 orphans and people living with disabilities. He thanked ALC and recalled that the Vietnamese embassy actively joined a charity fair that was held by the centre in late August.

He promised that the centre will use ALC’s gift effectively to provide a better life for orphans and people with disabilities at the centre./.
