ASEAN Student Sports Festival held in Netherlands

In the opening speech, Ms. Ngo Thi Hoa, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands, said the event has become a tradition among ASEAN member countries, thus strengthening friendship in the bloc and encourage youth to join physical activities.

She highly appreciated the contribution and support of ASEAN embassies for the event, especially the Vietnamese Student Association in the Netherlands. At the event, the Vietnamese Ambassador and her ASEAN counterparts presented flowers and sent best wishes to competitors.

The festival included mini football, badminton, basketball and relay. Finally, the Vietnamese team won in football and relay, while the Filipino team won in basketball and the Indonesian team came first in badminton in the doubles and singles events./.
