Contest on President Ho Chi Minh launched in Indonesia

The Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia and the channel for external news service of Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV5) launched a contest on President Ho Chi Minh’s visit to Indonesia on September 18th.

The contest marks the 60th anniversary of the 10-day historical visit of President Ho Chi Minh to Indonesia in February 1959 and the 65th founding anniversary of Vietnam - Indonesia diplomatic relations (December 30th, 1955- December 30th, 2020).
Entries should focus on the visit of President Ho Chi Minh, the friendship between the President and Indonesian President Sukarno and the Vietnam-Indonesia strategic partnership.
The contest is designed for VOV5’s audience in Indonesia, especially politicians, scholars, researchers, journalists and young people who have reserved special sentiments for Vietnam. It will prolongs until October 17th.
Winner of the contest will receive a cash prize worth 1 million rupiah (nearly USD70) and a gemstone painting featuring President Ho Chi Minh as well as a trip to Hanoi to attend a seminar marking 60 years since President Ho Chi Minh’s visit to Indonesia, which is scheduled to organize later this year./.
