First badminton tournament of Moscow police student

The first badminton tournament of open Moscow police students 2017 was organized at the Moscow State University of Design and Technology (MSUDT) on March 19th.

With the participation of top 50 players from more than 10 universities in and outside Moscow, it brought dramatic, exciting and interesting matches to audience.

In particular, the tournament also has participation of Russian students, so this is also an opportunity for students to take exercise, show sports techniques, exchange, learn each others in the field of sports as well as life.

The tournament was organized by the Security Department of the Vietnamese Embassy and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in the Russian Federation, in the framework of activities to mark the Youth Month and the 86th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26th, 1931- March 26th, 2017).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister, Head of the Department of Community Affairs in the Russian Federation Lai Ngoc Doan sent congratulations to all athletes participated in the tournament.

For his part, Major General Truong Van Thong, Ministerial Counselor, Head of the Security Department of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation, thanked the leaders of the Vietnamese Embassy, associations and organizations of overseas Vietnamese in the Russian Federation for creating conditions and helping to create a healthy and useful playground for students studying abroad./.
