First Hung Kings Death Anniversary held in Berlin

The Overseas Vietnamese community in Germany on April 9th solemnly organized a Hung Kings Death Anniversary ceremony to commemorate the construction and protection of the nation by the Hung Kings.

This is the first time the Hung Kings Death Anniversary ceremony has been organized in Berlin, and it attracted the attention of many members of the Vietnamese community living and studying in Germany.

The event included traditional rituals, including the images of the 18 Hung Kings, incense offering, oration reading and praying for a peaceful nation.

Representatives of associations, Buddhist organizations and enterprises have offered many products and fresh flower baskets to express their sincere gratitude for the Hung Kings.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Doan Xuan Hung emphasized the significance of the Hung Kings Death Anniversary, helping Vietnamese generations in the country and abroad to remember their origins, ancestors, contributing to educating and preserving traditional values, and the longstanding culture of Vietnam.

The ambassador affirmed that this was one of the largest Hung Kings Death Anniversary ceremonies, which is organized successfully and significantly of the overseas Vietnamese community, not only in Germany but in countries around the world.

At the event, the participants also enjoyed a special art program performed by the Vietnamese community in Germany, and traditional dishes of Vietnamese people./.
