Hai Phong fellow-countrymen association in UK raises funds to support Central region

The Hai Phong fellow – countrymen association in the United Kingdom (UK) gathered to mark the 6th year since the establishment of the association in London on October 29th.

At the meeting, the Executive Board of the association called on overseas Vietnamese in the UK to raise funds to support residents in the Central region to overcome difficulties after recent floods.
The Executive Board supported GBP500 and would continue to mobilize overseas Vietnamese in the community, businesses and restaurants to contribute to the fund.
The fundraising shows the solidarity tradition the overseas Vietnamese in the UK have maintained for many years past./.
