Hanoi's Liberation Day marked in Poland

A ceremony was organized to mark the 63rd anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day (October 10th) by the Vietnamese Embassy and Ha Thanh Club in Warsaw on October 8th.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Vu Dang Dung reviewed the incident on the morning of October 10th, 1954, and emphasized the great significance of the important event, opening the new development period in the history of Thang Long - Dong Do - Hanoi.

The Ambassador also congratulated Ha Thanh Club on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of its founding, which is a useful playground for people from Hanoi and those who love Hanoi in Poland, contributing to promoting the culture and unique cuisine art of the land of Trang An - Hanoi to Polish people.

He expressed his wish that in spite of living far from the homeland, people from Hanoi would always maintain and promote the elegance and beauty of Trang An people, as well as spread the virtue to those around them and to the Vietnamese community.

At the ceremony, the organizers built the Ha Thanh cultural space, bringing to participants the features of the Hanoi Old Quarter, with O Quan Chuong gate, flower baskets, sweetened porridge and street stalls./.
