Hotlines to support Vietnamese citizens in Japan

According to Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka, Japan, there has no information about Vietnamese citizen injured or killed in 6.1-magnitude earthquake, happening in the second largest city of the country on June 18th.

Right after the earthquake, the Consulate General of Vietnam connected with Japan’s authorities to learn about the information.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs directed the Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka to continue to follow the situation and ready to carry out citizen protection measures in necessary cases.

The earthquake killed three people and injured 300 other people. The disaster also disrupted operation of many plants, caused fires, widespread power outages and traffic disruptions at rush hour in the morning of June 18th in affected areas./.
