Japanese presented gift to poor students in Ha Giang province

Vietnamese Consul General in Osaka, Japan, Tran Duc Binh, on August 22nd presented 57 Pianica instruments from students of Japan’s secondary schools to poor students in Ha Giang province.

On behalf of students in Ha Giang province, Ms. Ly Thi Lan, Director of Department of Foreign Affairs of Ha Giang province, thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vietnamese Consulate General in Osaka, Consular Department, Department of Foreign Affairs and North East Asia Department, for paying attention and helping poor students in the province.

She also said that the Pianica instruments will be allocated to the Ha Giang provincial Children's Cultural House and some districts.

Ms. Lan also added that Ha Giang province is promoting a cooperation program with Japan in several fields, especially tourism development, and planting cherry blossoms in Dong Van Karst Plateau. She hoped that the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka would continue to support the province's process of cooperation with Japan.

According to Mr. Tran Duc Binh, the Consulate General of Vietnam to Japan is mobilizing associations and businesses in Kansai, to raise funds to build schools for students in remote areas in Vietnam. In the short term, it will raise funds to support Ha Giang province to build classes in remote areas and then build schools./.
