Laos - Vietnam friendship football tournament 2019 was launched on January 5th in Vientiane, starting for cultural - sport exchange activities in 2019.

The tournament lures 12 teams from central ministries and agencies of Laos and the Vietnamese community in the country, thus strengthening understanding and friendship between young people of the two countries.
The organizing board said that all sponsoring money from businesses and individuals for the tournament will be used to support the poor, schools and centres for disadvantaged children in Vientiane, excluding a small part presented to football teams, which win the first, second and third positions.
The final match will take place on January 19th./.
