Mongolia’s Khuvsgul province wishes to cooperate with Vietnamese businesses

A working delegation led by Vietnamese Ambassador to Mongolia Doan Thi Huong visited and worked with leaders of Khuvsgul province, Mongolia, in order to promote cooperative relations between the province and Vietnam’s localities.

At the working visit, Mr. Lkhagvasuren Ganbold, Chairman of Khuvsgul province, said that with the advantages of scenery, his province wishes to cooperate with Vietnam’s localities in order to strengthen promotion and tourism activities. The province also wants to cooperate with Vietnamese businesses to export meat products to the Vietnamese market. Moreover, Khuvsgul pays special attention to policies and jobs for disabled people, and desires to learn from Vietnam’s experiences in the field.

Acknowledging the ideas of the leader of Khuvsgul, the ambassador affirmed that the connection and promotion of the cooperative relations between businesses of the two countries not only improve production and business effectiveness, but also contribute to strengthening the traditional friendship relations between Vietnam and Mongolia.

Highly appreciating the establishment of the job sponsor centre for disabled people of the province, Ms. Doan Thi Huong exchanged some main features about training, vocational education, subsidy and preferential policies of Vietnam for disabled people, and businesses using employees who are disabled people.

Khuvsgul is the northern-most province of Mongolia; its capital is about 800km from capital Ulan Bator. This is one of provinces with the largest number of people, largest amount of domestic animals and accounting for one third of forest area of Mongolia. Specially, the province has Khuvsgul Lake, one of the famous landscapes of the world. It is also the only province of Mongolia raising reindeer.

The diplomat said that over the past time, the Embassy has exchanged with the Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee to hasten the cooperation between businesses and administrations of Hai Duong and Khuvsgul provinces. She affirmed to continue the promotion and connection work, so that Khuvsgul province and Vietnam’s localities and businesses have conditions to contact and seek cooperation opportunities.

On this occasion, President Lkhagvasuren Ganbold invited the delegation to attend the Blue Pearl Festival organized in Khuvsgul Lake.

During the working visit, the delegation also visited a domestic animal meat processing slaughtering company in Murun city; working with Mr. Amartuvshin, General Director of Tod Tamga Ltd. Co. and Chairman of the Khatgal village fellow-countrymen Association./.
