The flight was arranged by the Vietnamese authorities, the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK, Bamboo Airlines and authorities of the RoK.

Passengers included children under 18 years old, the elderly, those with underlying health conditions, pregnant women, workers with expired labour contracts, students completing their study and other especially disadvantaged cases.

The Vietnamese Embassy sent its staff to the airport to assist them with boarding procedures.

Disease prevention measures were carried out during the flight to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  All passengers and crew members were given heath check-ups upon landing at Cam Ranh airport in Khanh Hoa and sent to quarantine sites in line with regulations.

More flights will be arranged to bring more Vietnamese citizens with disadvantaged circumstances, depending on their need and quarantine capacity at home./.
