No Vietnamese affected in bomb blasts in Jakarta

According to Vietnamese Ambassador to Indonesia Hoang Anh Tuan, there is no Vietnamese persons affected by the bomb blasts in Jakarta.

Kampung Melayu area, where the bomb blasts happened, has no Vietnamese person living. At the same time, the Vietnamese Embassy also warned Vietnamese citizens to be cautious.

Ramadan month is a sensitive time and it comes with higher security risks, so Vietnamese citizens should avoid crowded places or areas where Indonesian police have warned of security dangers. They can directly contact the embassy if they need assistance.

According to Indonesian police, there are 15 victims of the bomb blast at the Kampung Melayu bus station in eastern Jakarta. There are five people killed, including three policemen and two suicide bombers.

Ten wounded people were taken to hospital for emergency aid, including five policemen and five civilians, all of whom will be treated free of charge./.
