The tournament was a playground for strong football teams in East Seoul and created conditions for Vietnamese students to exchange with international students and Vietnamese workers in RoK.

At the same time, a charitable fundraising program was also held during the tournament to support the people in the Central region affected by recent floods.

The tournament attracted Vietnamese students, workers and international students in RoK. They were divided into four teams of SKVN, Sejong, Seoultech international students and FC Seoul, including Vietnamese workers in RoK, and the first prize was given to FC Seoul.

The total amount raised after the tournament was KRW230,600, which is donated to the “donation program to support the people in the Central region” launched by the Vietnamese Student Association in RoK (VSAK) from October 18th to November 5th. The amount will be directly presented to the people of the Central region by representatives of VSAK.

Through the organization of the football tournaments in combination with charitable fundraising, the organizers and the participants wanted to pass on a message: "Although overseas Vietnamese study and work far from the homeland, their hearts are always toward the homeland, and always eager to contribute to the country and to people in difficult circumstances by making the most practical, timely deeds"./.
