Ms. Nguyen Khanh Linh and Ms. Ngoc Anh from Taiwan (China) said that these interesting sightseeing activities will help make their lectures more meaningful.

In f
act, they don’t have much images of Uncle Ho to introduce to our students, but they use songs to help learn Vietnamese words. The visit helped them have more images and materials to make their lectures more vivid. This was their first visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. They were deeply moved to hear songs about Uncle Ho and touching films about the great sacrifice Uncle Ho dedicated to the nation. Through the visit, they would have more knowledge and documents on Vietnam’s history to bring back to Taiwan to serve for Vietnamese teaching.

At the Temple of Literature, they were introduced to the origin of Vietnam’s first university and outstanding teacher Chu Van An.

Mr. Bui Van Kim from U-thong district (Thailand) said that those were useful experiences for teaching, preserving and promoting Vietnamese language in the nation.

The training course would continue with skills of analysing, teaching and evaluating Vietnamese capacity as a foreign language.

This is the fifth consecutive year the training course has been organized, in order to improve pedagogical skills and disseminate Vietnamese teaching curriculum abroad.

During the two-week training course, the participants will be taught Vietnamese teaching methods by lecturers and linguists from the Vietnam National University -VNU Hanoi, and participate in extracurricular activities in Ninh Binh and Quang Ninh provinces./.
