Party mass mobilization commission delegation visits Netherlands

A delegation of the Party Central Committee Commission for Mass Mobilization, led by its Deputy Head Tran Thi Bich Thuy, has paid a working visit to the Netherlands to review work related to overseas Vietnamese in the country.

The delegation had a working session with representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy and communities in the Netherlands. 

Vietnamese Ambassador Ngo Thi Hoa briefed the delegation on the situation of Overseas Vietnamese (OV) in the Netherlands and its policies for Vietnamese people and students living, working and studying in the country, as well as the Vietnamese citizen protection work of the embassy.           

The representatives of the OV Association reviewed the achievements and difficulties of the association in the Netherlands and emphasized the demand for Vietnamese language study and maintaining Vietnamese culture among the second and third Vietnamese generations.

Besides, the OV also highly appreciated activities of the government of Vietnam such as Homeland Spring program, Summer Camp for OV youth, orthodox information on VTV4 channel and timely attention of the Party Central Committee Commission for Mass Mobilization for active collectives and individuals in mass mobilization work in the Netherlands.

Representatives of the Vietnamese Student Association in the Netherlands affirmed that they always maintain their political stuff, activeness in students’ activities and participate in the embassy activities.  

Ms. Tran Thi Bich Thuy applauded work related to the Party and mass mobilization implemented by the embassy, and highly appreciated the information provided by the embassy and organizations.

The delegation will propose appropriate measures and policies for the local country, contributing to promoting the OV community to deeply integrate into the local society.

Later on, the delegation paid a working visit to France./.
