On the occasion of the New Year 2019, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland Krzysztof Ardanowski paid a working visit to the headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy at the invitation of Ambassador Vu Dang Dung.

During the meeting, Minister K. Ardonowski expressed his pleasure at saying that Poland -Vietnam relations are developing well in all fields.
The Minister said that the long-standing friendship and cooperation tradition and dynamic economic development achievements of the two countries over the years have created a favorable basis for the two countries to further strengthen economic and trade cooperation, including agricultural cooperation, which has great potential and cooperation opportunities.
Poland and Vietnam both have traditional strengths in agricultural production. Poland's temperate agricultural products and Vietnam’s tropical agricultural products are not competitive, but can complement each other.
In the coming time, the Polish side wants to increase exchange of agricultural and food products with Vietnam, such as: pork, chicken, dairy products, vegetables, fruit juice, especially apple and apple juice with high quality under EU standards.
Mr. K. Ardonowski also agreed with Ambassador Vu Dang Dung to close coordination between the Vietnamese Embassy and Poland’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to promote cooperation in this field, especially strengthening exchanges of delegates and sharing information between the two ministries of agriculture and rural development and enterprises of the two countries, effectively implementing the cooperation agreement signed between the two ministries during the visit to Vietnam of the Polish President in November 2017.
On this occasion, the Polish Minister expressed his willingness to arrange a visit to Vietnam, as well as to welcome his Vietnamese counterpart to visit Poland at the appropriate time in 2019./.
