Poor Vietnamese families in Cambodia presented Tet gifts

150 poor Vietnamese families living in Phnom Penh were presented gifts worth 3,000 USD from Viettel Cambodia (Metfone) company on the occasion of Lunar New Year Festival (Tet) on January 13th.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Vu Quang Minh reported the political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries over the past years. He emphasized that the Cambodian government has helped families of Vietnamese origin living in Tonle Sap lake stabilize their lives.

This year, Metfone presents 700 gifts worth 14,000 USD to poor Vietnamese people, including 150 in Phnom Penh, 50 in Sihamoukville city, 100 in provinces of Kandal, Kampong Chhnang, Battambang, Siem Reap and Kampong Cham./.
