The seminar is organized to provide managers and investors in Dubai with updated information on Vietnam’s socio-economic situation, development and growth indicators in the coming years by independent research institutions, as well as recent legal reforms of the Vietnamese government and investment opportunities in the coming years.

WF & W law firm provided information on legal procedures and legal preferences of the Vietnamese government for investors in specific sectors in Vietnam, fields and incentives in investment attraction strategy of the Vietnamese government in the following period, as well as company and management models, which can be applied in Vietnam.

The representative from Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade emphasized the guiding concern of the leaders of the two countries, bilateral relations development policies in which trade and investment are the pillars with the aim of trade turnover promotion to USD10 billion in the medium term and USD15 billion by 2025.

Currently, UAE’s direct investment into Vietnam, with 14 large projects worth over USD3 billion, is working well. This is a good example for potential investors. With favourable conditions of infrastructure, policies, human resources and support from the banking system, and especially sea and aviation transport between the two countries, the number of projects and total investment from the UAE into Vietnam will increase sharply.

The investors were interested in and registered to learn more about projects in their areas of interest, especially  policies for export processing zones in Vietnam as well as instruments to support investors of the Government of Vietnam./.
