Situation of Vietnamese people after attacks in UK, Philippines and Indonesia

Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs updated the situation of Vietnamese people after recent attacks in the United Kingdom (UK), the Philippines and Indonesia on May 25th.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Le Thi Thu Hang said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam has updated the situation after the explosion in Manchester, UK, and so far there is no newer information on the situation of Vietnamese people affected in the incident.

Regarding the recent incident in Jakarta, Indonesia and Mindanao, the Philippines, Vietnam’s diplomatic representative agencies in the two countries have no information of damage involving Vietnamese.

With the responsibility of the civil protection agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has instructed the diplomatic representative agencies in these countries to regularly update new situations and immediately report to the press.

She added that Vietnam’s diplomatic representative agencies are ready to take measures to protect citizens in case of difficulties. The diplomatic representative agencies and consulates under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have hotlines to protect citizens./.
