Various cultural and art activities mark "ASEAN Family Days" in US

The permanent delegations of the 10 members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to the United Nations (UN) held the "ASEAN Family Day" at Astoria Park in Queens district, New York, the US, on August 19th.

"ASEAN Family Day" has truly become an annual traditional festival of the ASEAN delegation to the UN, with vibrant cultural and arts activities, folk games and sports, contributing to tightening solidarity and friendship between the permanent delegations of ASEAN countries to the UN in particular and the ASEAN members in general.
On this occasion, ASEAN countries also introduced to friends their unique dishes.
At the event, the Vietnam's permanent mission to the UN brought to the festival a traditional space with national dishes and fun games that attracted the attention of a large number of the other missions.
Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga, Head of the Vietnam's permanent mission to the UN, officials and families of Vietnamese representative agencies in New York, enthusiastically participated in this meaningful activity./.
