During the working visit, the delegation met and worked with Head of Tipaza province Mohamed Bouchama. The two sides introduced their economic situations and potentials, exchanged measures to promote the bilateral cooperation, to match the good political and diplomatic relations between the two countries, especially economic–trade relations.
The two side all paid attention to trade and investment promotion in fields of agriculture, tourism, aquatics and taking Vietnamese labourers to Algeria in general and Tipaza in particular. Mr. Mohamed Bouchama desired that Tipaza province cooperate with a province of Vietnam.
On this occasion, the Vietnamese Embassy in Algeria and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Tipaza province organized a seminar to introduce import-export and investment cooperation potential between the two countries. The event drew the participation of the leaders of CCI and about 50 local businesses in fields of trade, industry and tourism.

At the seminar, Chairman of CCI Maâmar Serandi highly appreciated the working visit of the Vietnamese Embassy delegation and introduced economic potential and investment opportunities in the province. Besides, he also called upon Vietnamese businesses to enhance cooperation with the local businesses in the strong fields of agriculture and tourism.
At the seminar, many representatives of businesses in Tipaza expressed their attention to cooperation with Vietnamese businesses, especially in the fields of garment and textile, agriculture – agricultural product processing and tourism, asked the delegation to introduce more policies relating to Vietnam’s investment and trade, and suggested Vietnam create favourable conditions about legal procedures, visa, accommodation so that businesses in Tipaza in particular and in Algeria in general can seek cooperation and investment opportunities in Vietnam.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Pham Quoc Tru reviewed the Vietnam – Algeria cooperation relations. He emphasized that the government of Vietnam in general and the Vietnamese Embassy in Algeria in particular will create favourable conditions, especially regarding legal procedures, visa, accommodation and necessary support for businesses of the two countries to boost cooperation and investment in their strong and potential fields. The ambassador mentioned measures which the two sides should carry out to promote cooperation in the coming time.
At the event, Vietnamese Commercial Counsellor Hoang Duc Nhuan introduced Vietnam’s socio-economic development over the past year and economic – trade development orientation of the country in the coming time, as well as the economic, trade and investment cooperation overview between Vietnam and Algeria.
He also introduced a book in French named “Brocade bag of business in Vietnamese market”, list of international fairs and exhibitions in Vietnam in 2019 and prestigious export businesses of Vietnam.
On the same day, the delegation visited production facilities in the province and exchanged with business owners about cooperation ability between them and Vietnamese businesses./.
